Angelo was a technical sergeant in the Wolfhound 27th infantry unit in the Korean War. He served two years on the front lines in Korea and rose to that rank during that term. He had been decorated with many medals for this time served. He was honorably discharged in order to go home to the US to care for his mother who was terminally ill.
