My husband, Douglas M. Denney, upon graduation from law school was commissioned into the US Army. Captain Denney served in Vietnam from 1969-1970 as a member of the 240 QM Battalion, and commander of the 514th QM Company, responsible for approximately 300 soldiers, 50 miles of pipeline and a large tank farm.

Doug was both very proud of his service and the men he served with, but his time in Vietnam deeply affected him. Doug's hearty laugh and warm smile lit up a room. He will forever remain in our hearts. Douglas died on March 8, 2018.
