Paul served in the U.S. Navy from 1942-1944, specializing in Naval communications. He was stationed in Cleveland, Ohio but requested to be transferred overseas. He was continually denied and told his skills were needed in the States. .He always put the people of Northville first while transcending a partisan favoritism.  He served Northville for many years, sixteen(16), as an elected official. He also was a caring and loving husband, father, and grandfather.
