Shannon Maloney attended the ROTC program and graduated from the University of Michigan.  She earned her airborne wings and the Army Commendation Medal for her service.

She was stationed in Germany and Italy and was an Ordnance Officer and munitions expert. She served our country during Desert Storm in Iraq and continued in the Army until 1993, attaining the rank of Lieutenant Promotable. She left the military just prior to attaining the rank of Captain. She is proud of her service and attests that the Army delivered on its slogan to "See the World."

She is married to her husband Dave and they live in Northville with their two children. Shannon continues to be a strong supporter for all military members and grateful for their sacrifice and service to our country.
