Maria has served as the Assistant Director at Northville District Library since March of 2021. Prior to that she was Head of Adult Services at Baldwin Public Library in Birmingham; a Market Research and Engagement Manager at a private business consulting firm, Growthink, based in Los Angeles; and 2-1-1 Resource Specialist at United Way for Southeastern Michigan. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and a Master's in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University. She lives in Detroit with her partner Mike, a Detroit firefighter, and enjoys cooking, baking, and long walks with her dog.
